President Trump just fired the first shot in the coming war with Barack Obama and the deep state treachery that tried to sink Trump.

They tried to remove Trump, they tried to damage his presidency and they failed at both. In other words, the deep state actors need to get lawyers and soon for if you come at the king you best not miss.

So reading between the lines, one can expect Barr to drop the hammer on the deep state and one hopes he opens a new special counsel into their malfeasance.

From The Daily Caller: President Donald Trump said Wednesday that “it would certainly be hard to believe” that former President Barack Obama was unaware of what the FBI was up to in 2016.

Speaking to WMAL radio host Larry O’Connor, Trump said he was considering holding his own press conference on Thursday following the public release of the Mueller report.

Trump went on to praise Attorney General William Barr, saying “he’s grabbed it by the horn.”

The conversation turned to several former Obama-era officials, most of whom are likely to be investigated in the coming months as Barr has pledged, and Trump touted the fact that he had called attention to them as “one of my great achievements, actually.”

The president also had strong opinions when it came to whether or not Obama was aware of what the FBI was doing. “How is it possible that he didn’t know?” he asked. “I mean, we’re talking about pervasive, horrible things that were happening.”

“It would certainly be hard to believe that he didn’t know what was going on,” Trump concluded.

From The New York Post: President Trump said Wednesday Attorney General Bill Barr will hold a news conference Thursday following the release of his redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on the Russia probe –and suggested he would chime in as well.

“You’ll see a lot of strong things come out tomorrow. Attorney General Barr is going to be doing a press conference. Maybe I’ll do one after that, we’ll see,” during a radio interview with Washington’s WMAL Larry O’Connor Show.

CNN later that Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would hold a news conference at 9:30 a.m., though it was unclear if that would precede or follow the release of the report.
