This is low, even for the hysterical Democratic party, and they really should be ashamed of themselves at this stunt.

They are acting like spoiled toddlers throwing temper tantrums rather than a major political party trying to govern.

This is but another of the many examples of why the Democrats keep losing national elections - they are insufferable.

From The Washington Examiner: Democrats are planning to host a Capitol Hill event featuring psychiatrists who will warn that President Trump is unfit for office based on his mental health.

The event will be led by Dr. Bandy Lee, a Yale School of Medicine psychiatrist and editor of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, a book that argues psychiatrists have a responsibility to warn the public when a president is dangerous. The position is controversial because psychiatric associations urge members never to diagnose patients they haven’t personally evaluated, saying it undermines the scientific rigor of the profession.

But Lee and others who agree with her stance say that their description of the president’s behavior, of his showing mental instability and dangerousness, shouldn’t be interpreted as issuing a diagnosis.

“The president’s condition has been visibly deteriorating to the point where there’s a lot of talk right now about his mental state beyond mental health professionals,” Lee said. “It no longer takes a mental health professional to recognize the seriousness of the current presidency.”

From Newsmax: A Capitol Hill event at which psychiatrists will warn that President Donald Trump is unfit for office due to his mental health is being planned by Democrats, the Washington Examiner reported on Wednesday.

Budget Committee Chairman John Yarmuth confirmed that the event was in the planning stage, saying it would likely occur in July because congressmen are busy this month with spending bills.

Yarmuth, a Kentucky Democrat, added that the format of the event has not yet been determined, but that it will feature Yale School of Medicine psychiatrist Dr. Bandy Lee, who is editor of a book, “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” that argues psychiatrists have a responsibility to warn the public when a president is dangerous.

This has been a controversial stance, as the American Psychiatric Association issued a statement in January urging  “an end to psychiatrists providing professional opinions in the media about public figures whom they have not examined.”

Lee insisted, however, that she is not violating this directive, because “The president’s condition has been visibly deteriorating to the point where there’s a lot of talk right now about his mental state beyond mental health professionals. It no longer takes a mental health professional to recognize the seriousness of the current presidency,” according to the Examiner.

Lee said those attending the event would watch a video featuring 13 experts discussing how Trump was unfit for office and were worried about his access to nuclear weapons and the impact his administration would have on climate change.
