President Trump is a loyal guy. Trump rewards those who stick by him, and in light of the absolute failure of the witch hunt, that is more important than ever.
We have seen how vicious the left will be when trying to destroy Trump. That will only get worse.
So loyalty and strength of character are needed to withstand the backlash from the left.. From The Hill:
President Trump is nominating actor Jon Voight and former radio host and Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R), two staunch supporters of his White House, to the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
The White House announced Tuesday the appointments of 10 people, including Voight and Huckabee, to terms expiring in September 2024.
Voight was one of Trump’s few celebrity supporters during the campaign.
“He’s a patriot, and the people are responding because they know it’s exactly what has to happen,” Voight said in 2016. “Somebody has got to get in there and clean it out — even take the paint off.”
“There are a ton of lies, propaganda and slander, and it is very disturbing. And the American people are saying, ‘Hey, this is nonsense.’ They are on his side now. And they’re right to be.”
The actor, known for roles in “Coming Home,” “Deliverance” and Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” has kept up his defense of Trump since his presidency began.
“He’s doing a good job every day. He’s doing such a good job every day. He’s doing amazing things, really, and the news is not representing it, and there are people who are trying to cook up slanders and lies to bring him down,” Voight said in December.
Huckabee, a former GOP presidential candidate and the father of White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, has long been a staunch Trump supporter, most recently taking to the airwaves and Twitter to tout special counsel Robert Mueller’s conclusion that the president did not collude with Russia during the campaign.
