Rand Paul is done playing games. He just dropped the hammer on Barack Obama and those on his team who may have done Trump dirty.
Look, something happened with the Russia Trump investigation - after two years to find nothing makes one wonder how this all started.
The media relentlessly pursued every bit of smoke to create the false impression of a massive treasonous fire, and now we must question how they get their false information. We must ask because it is hard to believe they got this so wrong by accident. We must now ask if this was all some coordinated campaign to destroy Trump. Rand Paul for one already has his answer.
The backlash has begun on top Democrats who pushed the claims of Russian collusion with the 2016 Trump campaign.
Sen. Rand Paul today called on Justice to investigate the Obama aides who forced the false claims into public.
“Time to investigate the Obama officials who concocted and spread the Russian conspiracy hoax!” he tweeted.
And Trump campaign pollster John McLaughlin demanded a probe into the efforts by the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton campaign to spy on the Trump campaign.
“I’m very concerned that it’s becoming more clear that the Obama administration was able to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on our campaign based on phony opposition research from the Clinton campaign. Having federal law enforcement spy on a presidential campaign based on phony campaign research is really distressing and the true untold story,” he said.
Several Trump allies are shifting their attention to those who brought the claims to the public and that led to the appointment of a special investigator.

From Breitbart:
President Donald Trump said it was a “disgrace” that the phony investigation of his campaign for colluding with Russia began in President Barack Obama’s administration.
“It went very high up, and it started fairly low, but with instructions from the high up,” Trump said to reporters Tuesday. “This should never happen to a president again, we cannot allow that to take place.”
Trump commented on the case during a visit to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to meet with Senate Republicans after he was vindicated by Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s conclusion that there was no collusion between the Russians and his political campaign in the 2016 election.
When Trump was asked if the case ever reached the Obama inner circle in the West Wing, he replied, “I don’t want to say that, but I think you know the answer.”
He said that he wanted to stop the federal government and the intelligence agencies from ever attacking a future president again.
“I think what happened is a disgrace, I don’t believe our country should allow this to ever to happen again, this will never happen again, we cannot ever let it ever happen again,” he said.
On Monday, Trump said it was time to investigate Democrats for “very, very evil things,” and “treasonous things” against the United States.
