Joe Biden is desperate to save his campaign. He had a chance to run in 2016 as a sitting Vice-President, which would have been a huge advantage, but did not take the chance.

There were many rumors that he was pissed at Obama for not backing him in 2016, instead choosing to go with Hillary, and that was why he sat the election out.

In fact, it seems Biden still holds a grudge against his former buddy, and we just saw how bad it is between the two.

Biden ripped the Obama years for what they did to this country - mainly sell out the middle class so the wealthy could buy an extra yacht - in a blistering speech today.

Fact is, Trump won because both parties, but especially the Democrats turned their backs on the middle class and absolutely sold out the American worker.

One genius, Tom Friedman from the New York Times, Obama’s favorite author, even wrote a book called “The world is flat” in which he argued essentially that the American worker has to get used to the new rules.

The new rules say jobs will be exported to the cheapest labor market and that even advanced degreed knowledge workers will be competing against remote workers in India and the Philipines.

If you have ever talked to an operator from your cable company to solve a problem you know what I am talking about - they barely speak English and they will never transfer you to an American.

It is not just call center workers Obama and Friedman celebrated would be made to compete with cheap labor overseas - tech workers, lawyers, architects, radiologists, accountants, etc, etc.

The list is endless - if they can ship it overseas to make more money or scare you into working for less with the threat, it was a good thing according to the two geniuses.

They had a solution for us too - the American worker must adapt, learn new skills, stay ahead of the curve and it will be just great for everyone.

What they did not tell you…because it would have exposed the lie, is that all things being equal, training, advanced degrees, it is impossible for an American to compete with someone who will work for 10% of our salaries.

Take a radiologist who went to med school and has one of the highest degrees and skill levels out there - you can’t really get any more training in your field, you are at the top, so according to Friedman and Obama they are safe.

Except, and even if the American worker is better than the Indian competitor and that is important - even if the American worker is much better at the job, but the overseas worker is adequate, it would still be impossible to compete with a worker in India who will work for a fraction of the cost.

He can live like a king on 10% of a salary in India, and if the work he performs is good enough, the company makes a killing, the guy in India makes a killing and the American worker gets screwed.

Multiply that across every industry and you start to see the scope of the big lie these frauds tried to sell America.

In other words, Obama and Friedman and the rest lied to you for 20 years as they all lined their pockets off our suffering.

So in a desperate hail mary to save his flailing campaign, Biden came clean and ripped what Obama did to the country.

From The Free Beacon:

Former Vice President Joe Biden denounced the “sophisticated” and “elitist” attitudes that he believes have overtaken the United States in the past 15-20 years, in a speech delivered to union leaders on Friday.

“There is no possibility any of those guys making millions of bucks on Wall Street, doing good work wherever they’re doing it and doing very well, they could not function without the work you do. Literally. It’s impossible to make the country function without what you do,” Biden told his audience. “And don’t you forget it. Don’t you forget what you do.”

Biden then called out American culture at large for abandoning its blue collar roots.

“We’ve gotten so damn sophisticated. We’ve gotten so damn elitist,” he said.

Biden added that people who do menial labor deserve the thanks of the rest of the country.

“They make life work for us,” he said. “And I hate they way things have changed over the past 15-20 years.”

Biden served under former Vice President Barack Obama, whom many have charged as both too “sophisticated” and “elitist,” including former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, during her 2008 run for the Democratic nomination against Obama.

“You don’t have to think back too far to remember that good men running for president were viewed as being elitist and out of touch with the values and the lives of millions of Americans,” Clinton said of Obama during a rally in Biden’s hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Charges of elitism have dogged Obama and his legacy since 2008, when the former president referred to working class voters in a demeaning way at a San Francisco fundraiser.

“It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” Obama said.
