Sarah Sanders publicly embarrassed Adam Schiff and the rest of the Democrats who are heading over the cliff with their unprecedented presidential harassment.
They came up empty on the Mueller report so do they take their lumps and for the good of the country try to work with Trump?
No, they double down on the disproved conspiracy like a bunch of low-rent Avenatti’s. From The Hill:
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Sunday that she doesn’t think members of Congress are “smart enough” to look through President Trump’s tax returns.
“Frankly I don’t think Congress — particularly not this group of congressmen and women — are smart enough to look through the thousands of pages that I would assume that President Trump’s taxes will be,” she said on “Fox News Sunday.”
“My guess is that most of them don’t do their own taxes and I certainly don’t trust them to look through the decades of success that the president has and determine anything,” Sanders continued.
Sanders also said that Democrats are taking a “dangerous, dangerous road” in asking for Trump’s tax returns.
Earlier this month, House Democrats formally requested Trump’s tax returns. Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass.) asked IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig to turn over six years of Trump’s personal and business tax returns.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said President Trump wishes no one “ill will” after he tweeted a video criticizing controversial comments Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., made about the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
“Certainly the president is wishing no ill will and certainly not violence towards anyone,” she said during an interview with ABC News. “But the president is absolutely and should be calling out the congresswoman for her not only one-time, but history of anti-Semitic comments.”
The video tweeted by the president on Friday attacked Omar for her comments and included images and video footage of the World Trade Center’s twin towers, and the Pentagon, burning.
“The bigger question is why aren’t Democrats not doing the same thing? It’s absolutely abhorrent the comments that she continues to make and has made. And they look the other way,” she said. “I find what her comments to be absolutely disgraceful and unbefitting of a member of Congress. I think that it’s a good thing that the president is calling her out for those comments and the big question is, why aren’t Democrats doing it as well? Not just doing it, but doing it by name.”
